The Morris Valley bulk water system service area was established by the Fraser Valley Regional District in 2000. This is a bulk water system that provides bulk water services to two separate subdivisions, Eagle Point and River Reach, as well as to Tapadera Estates, a manufactured-home park. These three developments are located in the community of Morris Valley, in Electoral Area C. While these are the only customers of the service area, approximately 200 residents depend on this system for their water supply. The source water for this system is groundwater from a well. There is a 153-m3 reservoir that provides storage for the system.

Emergency Response Plan

The Drinking Water Protection Regulation requires that emergency response and contingency plans are developed for each water system. These plans identify roles and responsibilities of the regional district in the event of an emergency that affects the water supply. The plans also identify contingency measures to be put in place in the event of a loss of water.

To report a water problem in your area, please call the Engineering and Environmental Services Department at 1-800-528-0061.
