The East Cultus Lake/Parkview water system service area was established in 1986 by the Regional District of Fraser-Cheam, and became a Fraser Valley Regional District service area after amalgamation. The water system serves the Parkview subdivision in East Cultus Lake, in Electoral Area E. There are approximately 67 customer accounts on this water service, most of which are metered. The source water for this system is groundwater. A 113-m3 reservoir provides storage for the system.

Emergency Response Plan
The Drinking Water Protection Regulation requires that emergency response and contingency plans are developed for each water system. These plans identify roles and responsibilities of the regional district in the event of an emergency that affects the water supply. The plans also identify contingency measures to be put in place in the event of a loss of water.
