The Cultus Lake sewer service area was established in 1979 by the Regional District of Fraser-Cheam and became a Fraser Valley Regional District service area after amalgamation of the regional districts.
The sewer system serves the community of Cultus Lake, in Electoral Area E.
There are approximately 370 customer accounts on this sewer service, but there is a high level of variation in the total number of users due to the large number of visitors to the park in the summer. Treated effluent is discharged to a sewage disposal field.
