Dewdney Nature Regional Park
Dewdney Nature Regional Park is a seven hectare park used mainly by anglers wishing to access the Fraser River and Nicomen Slough. The concrete boat launch ramp was upgraded and extended in 2002 and the parking area expanded in 2005. The park is popular in the fall for anglers fishing for coho salmon. Many people swim and canoe in the slough during the summer. During the fall several species of shorebirds are common on the water's edge. Many Bald Eagles are also seen in the fall feeding on spawning salmon.
