Regional Community to Community Forum

The Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) and the Chawathil First Nation (CFN) partnered together to hold a very successful Regional Community to Community Forum, March 9, 2011. The forum was hosted by the CFN at their community and administration centre, "Te Lalemtset". The theme of the forum was "Lets'emot ye yoyes makw'tete'otel stelomet", which translated means, "All of us working together with one mind - working towards a common understanding". Participants at the forum included the political leadership of both communities, staff members, CFN elders and some CFN community members.
