Located in the Fraser Valley Regional District’s Electoral Area “C”, Hemlock Valley is a small alpine community situated in the Coast Range Mountains. An area of striking natural beauty, Hemlock Valley is sheltered by the coastal mountains with a magnificent view of the National Border Mountain chain.

As a small alpine community, Hemlock Valley is located between Mt. Keenan and Mt. Klaudt. Since the 1970’s, development has been guided by Building Schemes. In 2003 the remaining building schemes expired and as a result, the Regional District is proposing to amend the current zoning bylaw to include ‘un-zoned’ lands.
