A draft Official Community Plan is ready for your review!

The Regional District has been working on updating the Official Community Plan (OCP) since 2010.  Advisory Planning Commissions for the Chilliwack River Valley and Columbia Valley/Cultus Lake have met at least four times to discuss and provide information for the OCP.

At the November 22, 2011 Regional Board of Directors meeting, the draft OCP was given first reading.  This marks the start of the next phase of the OCP update process:  the public review process.  The draft OCP will continue to evolve and change as community members and stakeholder comments are received. 

In the mid-point of 2012, the Regional District will host open houses to review and receive comments on the draft OCP.  Check back here in the coming months to learn about upcoming open houses and other information concerning the OCP update.
