As a guiding document for the Fraser Valley Regional District, the Official Community Plan offers a vision and masterplanning framework for growth and development within Electoral Area E. The Area E Official Community Plan includes Chilliwack River Valley, Cultus Lake and Columbia Valley.

Official Community Plan for Electoral Area “E” Bylaw No. 1115, 2011

The draft Official Community Plan for Electoral Area “E” Bylaw No. 1115, 2011 has been revised to address comments and concerns brought forward at the public hearing held in September, 2012.  The amended bylaw was given second reading by the FVRD Board on March 26, 2013.  Two public information meetings, followed by a public hearing, will be held in June, 2013 to present the revised plan to the community and receive input on it. Additional information may be found in the Next Steps and Anticipated Timelines Staff Report dated February 12, 2013, as well as in the other reports found on this webpage.
