Welcome to the Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD); a region rich in diversity through its communities, economies, landscapes and recreation.

In the FVRD, we have cities, peaceful rural communities, and everything in between. We have robust economies in agriculture, tourism, education, health care and aerospace, just to name a few. Our stunning landscapes run the spectrum from prairie-like vistas across the valley to soaring mountains and deep, rocky canyons that are home to the mighty Fraser River. Our recreational opportunities are second to none! We have outdoor activities (bird watching, biking, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, paragliding, golfing, skiing, snowboarding and snow shoeing), water activities (boating, swimming, whitewater rafting, fishing, water skiing, and windsurfing) and cultural activities (agricultural fairs, museums, music festivals, and world class art and cultural centres offering plays, musicals, and art shows).

The Fraser Valley Regional District has whatever you are looking. We invite you to come see for yourself!

The Regional District is made up of seven electoral areas and six member municipalities. To learn more about any of these places and the services the FVRD provides to them, please see the electoral areas map or the member municipalities map.  For a snapshot view of the region, please visit our District Statistics page.
